COOKIE POLICY
Cookies
Cookies are small files your browser stores while you use the site. They help remember useful things (login, language, preferences). Here is everything VolariDeals uses and everything we do not.
What are cookies
Cookies keep you logged in, save your language and theme preferences, and mark that you have seen a tutorial. Cookies are NOT spies, can NOT access files on your computer, and you can delete all of them in your browser settings anytime.
Types we use
- Essential: sb-*-auth-token (keeps Supabase login active, 30 days) | vdd_lang (selected language, 1 year) | vdd_redirect_visits (counts visits to show the redirect tutorial on the first few times, 90 days) | vdd_dismissed_* (you marked "do not show again" on a tutorial, 1 year)
- Preferences: vdd_theme (selected theme vintage/terracotta, 1 year) | vdd_filtros_open (filter panel open by default, 30 days)
- No affiliation: We do not use any affiliation or purchase-tracking cookie. Revenue comes from the Premium subscription, not commission.
- Analytics: When we activate them, it will be Plausible self-hosted — no fingerprint, no PII (personally identifiable info), no GDPR consent banner required. Currently disabled. We will update this page before activating.
Cookies VolariDeals does NOT use
Facebook Pixel, traditional Google Analytics, Hotjar/FullStory/Mixpanel, cross-site tracking cookies, "data broker" cookies — none of these.
How to control
You can block cookies anytime via browser settings (Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies; Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Block cookies; Firefox: Preferences > Privacy & Security > Cookies). Important: blocking essentials breaks login. Blocking functional ones is fine (preferences are lost).
Countries with specific rules
European Union (GDPR/ePrivacy): we will add a consent banner for non-essential cookies when we activate future analytics. Quebec (Law 25): opt-in for non-essential cookies — we have implicit opt-in today since we only use essential cookies. Brazil (LGPD): consent recommended but not mandatory — we are transparent regardless.
